CKC Ch CedarPaws Rid'n In A Murano July 11, 2004 - February 8, 2017
Hello Karen and Jim,
This email is actually an extremely difficult one to write and to send as we have incredibly sad news to share. About five months ago Murano was diagnosed with neurological issues and suffered from ataxia (suspected brain tumour). We were able to keep him very comfortable and happy on medication but we were advised by our veterinarian that the time would be very limited. The medication became ineffective and he deteriorated very quickly over a few days and on Sunday, Feb 8th we made the unbelievably difficult decision to say our last goodbye and let him go. Murano's comfort and quality of life were always our highest priority. I hope you know how very much he was loved and what a huge part of our family he had become. We are all filled with so much sadness. Murano was so very special (as you know). When he first joined our family he was so good to our Clementine during her old age and then he helped us train and raise Matilda (Tilly). Murano and Tilly were never far apart from one another and they rarely lay down without touching one another. Murano was truly an angel - he had such a gentle, beautiful soul. Over two years ago our youngest daughter was in a car accident. She was forced to put school on hold and has had a team of therapists visit several times a week in our home during her recovery. Her therapists truly felt Murano was part of the team - he helped her heal with his quiet gentleness and loved her through her darkness back into the light. In January our daughter was able to start to take a few courses at school.
We will be forever grateful to you for allowing us to share your beautiful boy Murano with our family. We are truly lost right now, as is our lovely Tilly as we have all lost our beloved boy.
We have attached some pictures for you. Murano was so very deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
