I have raised and trained dogs for over 40 years. My relationship with dogs began
with rescues from the local pound, in which I retrained and re-
I gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working with so many different
breeds and temperament issues.
In 1988, my first commercial kennel breed was the Siberian Husky. We started
breeding show quality dogs and earned CKC Championships on many of our dogs.
My husband Jim then ventured into the world of competitive dog sled racing and
we turned our sites onto breeding race quality dogs. Jim retired from racing in 2007
but remains active in the sport as a judge, race marshal and club advisor.
In 1994 I was introduced to my first Australian Shepherd and it was love at first sight! Finally, I found the dog I had been searching for my whole life with the qualities that this little dog has. Their intelligence, loyalty, tainability, affection and beauty are immeasurable. There was no turning back.
